These are replies to Frequently Asked Questions by QPower customers:

Q: Why does QPower have Factor 3 and Factor 5 queues? Why not some other factors?

A: Factor selection was a balancing of 4 considerations:

1. Offering attractive appreciation.

2. Offering a reasonable Predue Retirement value even at high appreciation.

3. Avoiding fractional calculations.

4. Retaining customer interest in queue speed.

Factor 3 is the lowest possible fraction which provides upto 200% appreciation, gives a PreDue Retirement value of 50% even at 100% appreciation and avoids fractional calculation while giving appreciation in multiples of 10s.

After this, Factor 5 is the next lowest factor which gives appreciation in multiple of 20s, avoiding fractions. Also, any factor higher than this would make the queue move too slow.

Q: Does QPower provide for multi-shop / multi-vendor situation within a Company - typically a multiplex or shopping mall?

A: Yes it does. It gives you shop / vendor analysis of Bill(s) encashed against Rebate Certificate(s).

Q: In accounting terms, how would you define the cash that comes in and the cash that goes out of the queue?

A:  Cash coming in is an Advance against Sale. Appreciation that you give is in the nature of  Sales Expense.

Q: What about integration of QPower with existing systems?

A: Accounting integration involves passing summary JVs. This is supported by Cash Inflow, Cash Outflow, Lists, Summaries and Totals that QPower provides.
