Tabbed control at the top provides 'Single' and 'Multi' options. Both facilitate the creation of Factor 3 and Factor 5 Rebate Certificate(s). However, multi option provides for creating multiple Rebate Certificate(s) in one go. This saves effort. Speed buttons on the top right panel are supplemented by pop up menu - press F2. This pop up menu offers all the facilities that the speed buttons provide. Rebate Certificate embodies one or more rebate units. As new units join the Queue Series, the preceding units mature. However, all the units in a Rebate Certificate should mature for that Certificate to mature and fall due. If, part of the units have not yet matured then the Rebate Certificate will still be InQ. Passive Grid Duplicate is a very useful facility to save effort while creating multiple Rebate Certificate(s). Rebate Certicate(s) fall in the passive grid initially. They may or may not be complete in their content. Only when you transfer them to the active grid on the right do they get validated and accepted as a proof of units bought by a customer. You may activate a single Rebate Certificate to the active grid by first clicking on the passive Rebate Certificate and then clicking on the single arrow to the lower right of the passive grid. To activate all the Rebate Certificate(s) in the passive grid in one go, click on the double arrow pointing towards the active grid. Right clicking the mouse button on the active and passive grid gives you a pop up menu. Among other options in the menu, there is a facility to make the Rebate Certificate(s) active. So, in all you have 2 methods to move the Rebate Certificate(s) from one grid to another and back. Choose the one that you are comfortable with. As the Rebate Certificate(s) move from passive to the active grid, they may undergo a modification in their graphic design. Its background may change and an outline may appear. Right click mouse on the Active grid to obtain a grid pop up menu with 'Active Rebate Certificate(s) Help' option to guide you in recognising the status of Rebate Certificate by its graphic.
Active grid has a range of filters to its left, to simplify your choice of Rebate Certificate even further. Right mouse click on the Active and Passive grid gives you a wealth of facilities including statistics.
Also, in the property panel on the left, a right mouse click on the selection combo box and edit gives you a short cut to adding or editing and 'What's this?' help. Pressing F1 in the window (any window) gives you online help. Rebate Cerificates are encashed/retired by clicking on the ellipsis besides the Bill No/Date. A form appears as follows on doing this:
The bills against which the rebate due is claimed are entered in the grid. A penalty applies if the purchase is not made between specified dates. It is possible to retire the Rebate Certificate(s) Pre Due too at depreciated value. |
